LSD worth the upgrade?

Hey about to replace clutch soon and wondering to those of you who have upgraded or not if it's worth the price vs benefit or not. Car is a non LSD 05 cobalt ss. Plans are to auto x and maybe drag race at track a little

I don't have an LSD trans but I want one, just from hearing the stories and reading it's worth the upgrade! You can get the differential and have it installed, or you can just go and get a complete LSD trans, but IMHO it's worth it!

Yes its worth it. Espeacially if you plan on auto x and drag racing. Otherwise broken parts will be your friend

Would I be better off to just get a new trans with one already installed? Or is just adding a LSD ok too? And anyone make staged trans anymore? Lol

I would never buy a cobalt with out a LSD. My first lsj was a non LSD, had trouble at the track with both drag radials not heating up and spinning off the line one wheel peel style. My second lsj and my current LNF HAS LSD, wouldn't go back, it's especially helpful for autox.

Call zzp for trans.
