Manual transmission

I am currently sending my transmission away on my 05 cobalt ss and I'm having a very hard time finding another replacement for the time being is there any way you can use a normal cobalt transmission or is there a more commonly found transmission that would work?

Go to car-part.com if you're just looking for a quick cheap replacement to get by. Basically just a boneyard search engine.

You can do an F23 swap from the regular Cobalt's. There is a user on here Bass_Waves who is currently doing the swap. I assume you have an LSJ supercharged Cobalt? If you retain your oil cooler you will have clearance issues with both the oil cooler and the T-stat housing that will need to be dealt with. I also think you have to switch flywheels maybe? or get a different clutch and also axles.
