i am currently deployed makin a little extra money, i own an 06 ss/sc, i am thinking of buying the centerforce dfx clutch and flywheel kit, is it worth it, and also we are planning on installing it in our own garage, is it worth doing or too much hassle to deal with

 

i plan on doing my own clutch and it would be the first really hard install of anything for me on a car. if u wanna blow 400+ bucks for some other guy to do it go ahead. or u could take that money and put it back into the car ^_^

 

Do you have the tools to do it yourself?

Thats where most people get into trouble doing big jobs like this..

Even the 30mm socket to take the axle nuts off with? or the reverse-torx bolts for the pressure plate? I just got done with my clutch install. My recommendation for a clutch set up is the Exedy Hyper single. Feels amazing and grabs like hell!
