need help fitting axels please!

Good day, I bought those axels from OTT the other day, and today I wanted to install them, so I went ahead and installed the driver side which went smoothly, but when I go to install the passenger side, I notice this whole side of the car had different parts!!!! the control arm was not even aluminum!!!! so I figgured the car was hit before I bought it and the person who fixed it decided to use cheaper parts (probably from the lt) on the car.... any way now when trying to fit in the new axles, it turns out the bearings on the axle for the SS is bigger than the ones on the LT, so now I need to replace the shaft the comes out of the gearbox of which the axles are suppose to slide into for the ss model which have a bigger housing to take the bearings of the axle of the ss model.... does anyone know what that part is called?? it's the shaft that goes into the gearbox of which the axles slides into.

bump for urgent help please.

are you talking about the shaft between the tranny and the axle, or the wheel bearing??? if its the shaft between the tranny and axle, only the ss/sc or ss/tc uses that, the other models use one long axle. if your saying that the axle wont slide into the wheel bearing, im not sure what to say. i didnt think the ss/sc used a different wheel bearing than an 2.4l ss. if they did change the knuckle/wheel bearing to something other than an ss/sc, it would have had to be a 2.4ss as ss brakes wont bolt to a non ss knuckle.
