no 2nd 4th or reverse

my cables are good under the shifter. and im pretty sure theyre hooked up on the trans. what does this sound like

Sounds like you busted a:
cable, roll pin, linkage, or worst case...somethign inside tranny


warranty? take it in
no? jack it up and take the driver tire off and start checking

sounds to me like the syncros, or the linkage to the transmission. not at the shifter

well if it was grinding in he would have those gears still. he sounds like he doesnt get them to engage at all.

it the shifter going into the position, but not engaging in the trans?
