I'm about to purchase the " Exedy Hyper single clutch kit" from ZZ Performance. What is need to know is if there is anything else I need to buy before I drop it off at the shop to have it installed. If so, what is it, and where can I buy it.

 

A lightwieght flywheel wouldnt be a bad idea!

 

It comes with the flywheel that is recommended for it

It wouldnt be a bad idea to get a new throw out bearing and new upgraded fluid. I dont know much about good tranny fluids but it would be a good idea to get it changed at the same time.

Im not sure if there is an upgraded one. Does it say if the kit comes with one or does zzp have one listed? You should be fine with the stock one I would think.

It doesn't come with a TOB. I don't think anyone makes an upgrade but the new clutch kit that GM is putting out might have a better one.
