Question OK quick Question!

With a Manual Transmission, Is it better to brake or down shift?
Like Does anyone know if one is more beneficial to the car?
I was just wonder'n!

if you dont know how to downshift dont downshift , brake pads are cheaper than a new clutch , and thats whats gonna happen if you cant downshift , it wears on the clutch either way ,in my opinion use your brakes

my cousin has a dodge dakota he always down shifted to make his truck bellar. Now he had to put a new set of heads on it because it warped them where it put so much back pressure on the engine.
