ottp rotated mounts - still have wheel hop
Hello,
I recently installed these in my 2010 ss. I went out today for a spin and i am still getting wheel hop with about 300 whp. i thought i followed instructions correctly but i guess its not the case if i am still getting hop.
now that the mounts are all on the car and torqued down, does anyone have a procedure i should take to maybe re-settle the motor down? maybe just loosen up certain bolts and re-torque in a certain order?

yes, i did
ok i loosened up the 3 passanger mounts, loosened the whole front mount, and both through hole bolts on the mounts to get back to the torquing procedure. when installed originally, i tightened the upper motor mount last which was incorrect.
so after loosening them all up, i torqued the upper, front and was working on the rear and the bolt STRIPPED! i had the wrench set at 70lbs and it just cracked loose.
so now i guess i need a new bracket and bolt? any idea where i can get these?

After installing my STAGE 2 OTTP mount, i noticed more vibration, but i raced around from light to light. I wouldnt get wheel hop at all. Unless you have uneven roads. That was the only time i had wheel hop... from the road not the suspension.

I wish I can help you, because I've installed my stage 2 ottp together with the ttr motor mount and it runs pretty well. I'm sure thinking that the ttr motor mount is making a nice difference too.
