Ottp sts review
upon opening the box I seen the shifter was well packaged I did not expect it to be as heavy as it is it is chunk. the shifter also has a weighted shift knob. it also has solid base shifter bushings with it. the installation is very straight just like any other shifter.
I have been rowing the b&m shifter for few years and really loved the shifter it always delivered good repeating shifts the only down fall with it was the straight up design it puts your hand a lot closer to the radio/hvac controls then I really liked but it works really good I have also tried the twm and the hurst
I separated the weighted shift knob from the shifter thinking all the weight was from the knob well I was wrong the shifter without the knob is still really really heavy
the ottp shifter is way heavier then the b&m and it is also raked back which gives it a lot more comfortable feel. the shifting under normal driving is really spot on it feels like it takes a lot less effort to shift it feels a lot smoother it just seems to fall in gear. and I would attribute that to the extra weight of the shifter its self and the weighted shift knob. on the wood shifting is a lot easier also and feels smoother also and has the same fall in gear feel
now the only down fall to the shifter is the reverse lockout it has less to grab a hold of then the b&m shifter which makes it a little rough getting it in revers it could use a little lip at the top like the b&m to grab on to and possibly a lighter spring so it will be easier to put in reverse
but overall this is a really good shifter I have now retired my b&m and hung it up on the wall in the garage

I installed mine this week, and have been driving it for a couple days now. I did base bushings and LNF cable bracket at the same time.
AMAZING difference in shift feel over stock.
Only issue I had was the bolt that goes in the side for the reverse lockout guide. If I snugged it down it bound up the slider. So, I put locktite on the threads and adjusted the screw back and forth until it was where I wanted it, let it sit, and...done!
