I need people's opinion on the Centerforce DFX. I have the money for it right now and I need a new clutch. But I've heard good and bad things about the DFX. So it's either take the plunge with the DFX, or go into a little bit of debt for the Exedy.



So anyone who has the Centerforce what do you think of it, and looking back would you have gotten the Exedy instead?

 

We have sold 5 DF and 3 DFX kits, and everyone of the customers have stated nothing but great comments back... Seems to be a great choice...

 

i hear its unbalanced and makes alot of noise

 

its loud and has a very soft pedal....exedy is quieter and has a stiff pedal....both grad really great

 

I bought the DF after calling Centerforce and speaking to them. It does make alot of noise. If I would have known that I would have gone with Clutch Masters or Exedy. But the clutch does grip very well. Oh and a reminder get the release bearing from GM worth every penny. I bought one thinking I wasnt going to need it but i did you dont want to go through the labor again for a $140 part. But overall the clutch is great just noisy.
