I was just wondering how much play you guys have in your shifters when in gear.

I am not used to the linkage style shifters and was just curious.

 

i noticed this yesterday too.. i have a little bit of play.. but not much to really be concerned about

 

Paul since you replied I'll ask you. When you have your car in a gear 1,2,3,4 or 5 can you still move the stick a little to the left or right?

Some free movement is required but I just wantend to make sure mine doesn't move to much.
