Problem With My New Hurst STS

I just installed my Hurst shift the other day and I did get every gear to work including the reverse lock out. But as you can see from the pic it sits too far to the right. If I move the cable clamp anymore I can not get into 5th gear or reverse. Anyone have any ideas? And don't tell me should have got a TWM shifter.

Ha well.... Shoulda gotta twm shifter. I had a hurst and the shifting was good except to get into fifth was tricky. It was like a full inch from the far right position. I have heard of people getting them to work perfectly tho. So hang in there and hopefully somebody will come help u out. For now... This is a free bump

Hmmm mine works flawlessly, but I installed it so long ago I can't remember how it works.

It works fine, I would just like it to be more centered. It feels like 1st is strait up and not left and up. And again I don't think it is a Hurst shifter itself, I think it just needs adjusted.

id say keep messing with the adjustment. maybe you can hit a sweet spot where it'll be more centered while reverse lock out still works.
