Pulley Question

Hey, I have an 06 Ls coupe and I was wondering if they made any underdrive pulleys for my ride. Thanks.

There is one I believe unless otherwise but as discussed in a prior thread that it's not the best idea because it can eventually lead to trouble all the time if you leave it on but it might be good to bolt on for track use I personally never had problems with a u/d pulley on my 3.1 and noticed good gains with it.

RK Sport u/d pulley

Says it's for a cavailer but it will fit a cobalt too since they share the same 2.2L Ecotec motor.

Custom Car grills makes one.

Scroll down till you see lightweight crank pulley

The RSM and Custom Car grill pullies aren't underdrive... Just lighter. Possible negatives of less engine damping with none of the benefits of underdrive. Not worth the dinero.

Sneaky, where'd you hear about the FFP pulley for your 3.1? I'm assuimng GM product?

I'd be careful with under drive pulleys man, unless you know everything about what your gonna do. We just had a vette come into work with a blown motor because of the u/d pulleys
