Quaife LSD

They now list the Cobalt SS s/c and Redline in their application guide.

GM - F35 Saturn Ion Redline / Chevy Cobalt SS s/c NEW 57.309.180 1,445.00

Pretty pricey huh

The G85 package is worth the price of the part alone.

Yep.

I posted that to someone else the other day... We come out better getting the package with Recaro Seats and Quaife LSD rather than just saying screw the seats. Oh well.

I'm trying to order a SS w/the Recaro seats and the Quaife LSD, but the dealer says that they are not putting the lsd in the cobalt just yet, does anyone else have anyinfo on this. I also talked to a Saturn Dealer and they all so said that the Red Line does not have the LSD yet. But the 06' Red Line will have it. Let me Know what u have heard.

Wow, that makes $1500 for a LSD and Recaro seats a deal.
And who can argue with having a set of Recaro seats?

No, it is not true. It is available in 05. People in this forum and others have them. I opted for the cheaper price and got the non LSD. A G85 was recently for sale in my area for almost $26,000. That does not include dealer mark up, which that dealer is known for. It sold dispite the sticker within weeks!

The LSD WAS an option for 2005. However, since they're not making the 2005 models anymore, if you don't find a car with LSD, you won't be able to get it.
I believe the cut off date for ordering an '05 with LSD was a few months ago.

Well if anyone orders/gets a cobalt with the G85 option on '05 and '06, and doesn't want the recaros I'm willing to trade for my stock seats with red inserts!! I'll pay for shipping!

I got the g85 and the LSD. I always laugh at that acronym.. Anyhow, I should be picking her up today. If not early tomorrow. I am just waiting for a call with my VIN. Insurance seemed ok with tis car, no horror stories yet.

$1500 dollars for LSD seems expensive. That stuff is bad for you anyways.
