We all know the stock clutch is junk. Im running a stage 2 upgrade and have problems with the clutch slipping. i saw the upgrade clutch kit on crateenginedepot and was just wondering if anyone has installed this. If so what is your opinion on it. Supposedly it can handle up to 300 h.p. Just tryin to go the cheap route for now and tryin to stay in warranty. Let me know thanks.

Yea i just put it on 3 days ago im still in the break in period tho....but so far its great no slipping or anything...but then again all i have is an exhaust and a cai

do u guys recommend buying a new flywheel when buyin the clutch?

 

Your stock flywheel is reusable if you're just swapping to upgrade. If you're swapping because your stock clutch is absolute toast, you may want to consider replacing the flywheel.

 

no just curious my clutch is fine right now. just curious if ppl say resurface stock or buy another stocker since they are only 137bucks.

 

so how much tq is it worth?

 

they go hp i think becuz the lsj never has a problem with too much tq. most any1 almost ever gets is like 270wtq.
