Rear disc conversion

What would be involved in a rear disc conversion

Would all I need be a swing arm/trailing arm/ rear axel that has discs, ie off a 2.4 or lsj or lnf and re run the ebrake cable/ brake lines to the new location?

If I recall correctly it can be done but it's a little difficult. On top of the parts you listed you still need to mess with the proportioning valve as well. I'm not really sure what it involves. Somone did it on here, I think his name was "toofknloud" of something along those lines.

Edit: Username is "twofknloud"

was wondering this myself. i hate drums. I like the stopping power for DD but i hate looking at them thru my wheels. theres a bunch of front end smashed balts in dallas that i see and most have rear drums that are all intact. would it be hard to just strip the whole axel off that and swap or would there be more involved besides the ebrake issue????

yeah its a simple mechanical swap, but if you dont have ABS your brake bias is going to be off and very potentially unsafe.
