The reason the car stalls so easily taking off is because the car has an abnormally light flywheel from the factory. Lightweight flywheels make you rev faster but don't retain the speed so the rpms drop quicker as well making stalling easier and more frequent.

If you go to fast in Reverse that way you'll burn the hell out of the clutch, doesnt smell good either.

I can start my car at 1000 rpms sometimes even at idle. I don't like starting the car at 2000 rpms. It just seems too high for me. I have done it on accident a couple of times and the times I did it, it made me feel bad for the clutch. I don't know, don't you think 2000 is a little bit too high? If you were to cut it down to maybe 1500 you would probably take a lot of wear off it.

The reverse gear makes the car boogie I can tell you that. I semi launched my car in reverse once just for fun while my friend in his chrysler sebring was going forward full throttle.....all i can say is that I smoked him off the line and up to aobut 20 to 25 mph. lol.

Letting your foot rest on the clutch pedal all the time will wear out your throwout bearing.
