Royal Purple ATF and Syncromax

So I have the 2.4 w/ 5 speed manual. GM specifies ATF fluid for the tranny. I was browsing royal purples site and it mentioned you could use their ATF or you can use the manual transmission synromax oil for increased performance even if ATF is specified by the manufacture. Would i say goodbye to my warranty if i used the syncromax?

no you would not. You are allowed to change the transmission fluid i believe. This is what i am going to do soon. I was just wondering how many quarts it will require.

I recall from another post on this website that it took 1.8 quarts. i dont recall if it wass SS/NA or SS/SC. I'm about 90% sure it was the SS/NA. So please don't quote me on that. Now I sit here and wonder why I just posted this if I "wasn't sure" Bored i suppose

i really doubt it would. the synchromax is basically atf with additives. ive used it before and it actually helped an old worn tranny in my old contour. of course those transaxles are picky things about what fluid/additive to use.
