Transmission shifter lever play, is it normal

Was just checking my roll pins to make sure they haven't stretched out and noticed that on my left-to-right cable at the lever on the transmission that I can move it up and down maybe 1/8" like in and out of the top of the tranny I suppose, I know it's not like that on the lever for the other cable but was just wondering if this is normal or should it be of any concern, also I don't have any operational issues I was just curious.

Sounds pretty normal wear over time, LNF shifter bracket, if you don't already have it or new cables should help firm it up if it bothers you that much.
