Short Throw question?
Alright i know that the 00-05 Cavlier Short throw on ebay will work on my car, but i was wondering.
Since we need to knock out the reverse pin, what exactly does that do or what is it used for?

For the Cavi. it keeps you from shifting into reverse (you have to lift the leaver thing to shift into reverse)

You can leave it ,it doesn't do anything in the 'balt.
