Wow, uhh you get tuned to get "rid" of the speed limiter but why on earth do you want to go that fast? I've been up to 130mph in a car on the road and that was way too fast for off the track. Even on the track, you never reach 115+ unless you've done alot more than stage 2

unless gm changed something, ss/sc cobalts dont have limiters, they are aerodynamicly limited at 155mph (meaning that with the stock and even slightly modded power levels, the engine runs out of power to push the car any faster).

you may have an issue with your car, although i wouldnt be too concerned cause you shouldnt be going that fast anyways.

All factory LSJ tunes have the 158mph limiter. Whether the car can get there or not is a different story.

I know I was almost there in 4th gear

And the TC's have a 155mph limiter (at least the 08s tune I pulled did).

i can attest to the 08-09 top limiter.... 30 miles, no traffic, straight road... 155 for the whole way... at 8 mpg!

interesting, that has view seems to have changed. when i first got my car and came on here (october 07) everyone said there was no electronic limiter and that the car was aerodynamicly limited to 155. not that i really care, i hit 200km/h one night and that was enough for me, no reason to go faster.

Correct. And stock cars can reach this. May take a bit of a decline however .
