ss trans issues

The first problem is sometimes it feels hard to get in to gear when shifting, like harder then what it should be. Also when downshifting to a stop sometimes it feels like the gears are just slightly grinding but then goes into gear. YES i have the clutch all the way in. And when ive come to a complete stop sometimes it wont go into first and got to play around to get it into gear.
The second issue is i really notice in third gear going about 40mph giving it throttle and then letting off about a second later it almost bucks a little bit and there is a slight whirring noise from the trans, until i get back on the gas. Ive read about some problems but thinking maybe all of this is connected i don't know, any feedback is appreciated.

mine kinda does your second issue. i think its kinda normal. unless yours is much more pronouned than mine. if im in say third and im goin maybe 50 and let off near a jersey barrier, a second after i let of it bucks forward a lil and i can hear the trans out the window against the jersey barrier. its like i can hear it spinning (just doing its job i guess). i cant it hear unless im next to something and the sound doesnt exist if your giving it any gas.

and as for the lil buck thats just the trans slowing me down. that 1 second seems like the amount of play in my trans.

The first issue you described is completely normal. I have that same problem once in a while with mine. Its just because the syncro isn't completely lined up with the actual gear so it won't select it. I usually put mine in 2nd real quick with clutch pushed in and then try first. Usually goes in everytime after that. There has been a time or two ive had to do a 2nd gear start cause it would not go in at all....gay.

yea the whirring noise is faint you have to have radio off and everything else off and nobody talking but you can hear it. I don't know i just thought since it being a "sports" car it would be a little tighter or something

I would try bleeding the clutch as there might be an air bubble in the slave cylinder. The slave cylinder may also be failing as well.

That whirring noise (it sounds like ball bearings rolling around) when you let off the gas is pretty noticeable on my car when the windows are down and I'm driving close to any sort of concrete barrier. I can hear it with the windows up too, but it's fairly quiet then. I think it might actually be the clutch assembly from what I've read. It sounds like a bad noise to me, but I have a feeling that it's normal and just one of the many entertaining sounds that these cars make

Bubbles in the fluid cant cause grinding and getting in and out of gears....

It's a bad pressure plate or syncro...

Air in the slave cylinder will not allow it properly extend to disengage the clutch while shifting, so it can cause you to grind getting into and out of gears, as well as not premit it. It could also very well be a syncro going out, or your plastic ends on the shift linkage could be cracked. If you have a warranty, take it in and have them check it out if you are unfamiliar with all the components involved.
