Were you shifting? Or just driving along?

When i shifted into 2nd i was probably at 6000RPM fully depresed the clutch shifted to 2nd dropped the clutch and had it to the floor. Almost could call it granny shifting, I wasn't in a hurry just like hearing the supercharger whine.

I could feel the car trying to go forward so i didn't miss 2nd it was just slipping likw crazy. After it slipt I pushed the clutch in again and reset it i guess you could call it and it still wasn't moveing. This morning on the way to work i didn't notice anything abnormal though.

So the Reps come out everytime a balt is in the shop and void em... and like mine red flag em... (I broke an axle at the track, and they voided my warranty because of exhaust)

heh thats why i said strip your mods, they will blame any HP increasing mod around here. Saying the tranny wasnt made to support the extra power etc.

they do suck i know 3 people personally that have clutch problems thats sad! Mine has slipped since the second week I bought it new. Of course GM says their isn't a fix yet so they won't touch it. I know not all of the clutches are bad but with as many people that have problems with them I would say as a whole they blow! I mean I love my car but I can't even be shift into second if im on the gas hard without it slipping One of these days I'd love to hear a Chirp into second lol so frustrating

It didnt work for me, for some reason I dk why, but it was safe enough to drive it to the dealership. I have a card for my extended GMPP Warranty that I can call for roadside assistance anytime anywhere, but thanks for the help. That # seemed like it was too long?

Yeah I know 3 people that killed their clutches within 600 miles of getting the car... but they drove like idiots and didn't know how to drive the car correctly (I.E. riding the clutch, slipping the hell out of it and glazing it over.etc etc)...
strange I guess.
and BTW ever notice how exedy doesn't offer a stg I clutch for our cars.......... cause thats what comes stock.

oh and also I can chirp 3rd at the track on stock clutch and tires.... and spin all of second if I wanted... proper break in is key with these clutches... I gave mine about 1000 miles of niceness before giving it hell and it never failed me once. Only reason its coming out soon is I don't think it would hold over 350 wtq ... lol

NOT ALL OF THE CLUTCHES ARE BAD BUT A LOT ARE! and it isn't because people don't know how to drive well i take that back im sure some cases are lol anyways im just saying I have 3 friends that have the same problem as me and they aren't little idiot kids that abuse their car. but I am happy for you ur lucky ur clutch has held up so strong

only reason I found that out I was at the track and someone taped my run,.,. (3rd gear chirp)..
but only thing I've ever seen that was an actual defect with the clutches is the slave cylinder, not the clutch itself
