Replace them. DSS Stage 2s are rated for 400hp. They could surely make you ones that use a variation of the LSJ 800hp kit if you felt the 400hp ones werent enough.

this cavalier run 11,25 on stock axle.
last time of the year, he launch at 5000 and he have broken his transmission.

Cavaliers use different axles than Cobalts. Cobalt SS cars routinely break stock axles(which are identical to LS axles in the area where SS's like to break them, outer bell)

Can a stock axle take 400hp? most likely, but are you a skilled enough driver to allow it to take it? A stock F23 can handle 500hp repeatedly. But are you skilled enough to drive it in the way it needs to be to make it handle that power?

If youre building a 400hp engine, $800 axles shouldnt be a big issue.

we are talking for a 2.2 not a SS. he asking for a 2.2 400hp
1-is the number of spline are different, if no buy cavalier axle instead stg2 axle
2-take 400hp sure, it will the proof is there. he broke cause of a 5000rpm launch
3-that right
4-not sure about that.
5-put your money trought window
6-800$$$$$$$$$ buy a LSD and you will have for your money.

cheap insurance at 800$ OMG. buy slick tire is better insurance due to softer sidewall.

Okay, I know English isnt your first language and its obvious weve got a communication issue.

I know we are talking about a 2.2(L61) Cobalt, not a SuperSport

Cobalt 2.2s use the same outer axle as the SuperSport Cobalts do.....Cobalt SS outer axles break.

You proved Cavaliers take 400hp, Cobalts and Cavaliers use different axles.

They can take that much power, Hahn Racecrafts Sunfire ran deep into the 10s at well over 130mph with the stock F23 transmission.

LSD is a good idea, but hard to get for $800, and doesnt keep 400hp from breaking axles.

i do my best to be understandable
I trust you on that one.

why a lsd because the pinion gears will spin a same speed everytime. W/O LSD those turn faster than the other when one wheel is spining. it was the fail on the patrick cavalier turbo. maven will correct me if i m wrong.
patrick explain me with : http://auto.howstuffworks.com/differential2.htm
