Exclamation stock clutch strength

car has 37889 miles on it bought it with 21 k stock
had new tranny put in around 33K-34K now have intake catless DP upper pipes tr8 and Tune
i mean what kind of power will these stock clutches hold looking into new one but i feel like mine is fine

my buddy has e47 blend with 45k on it still stock clutch holding up fine just curious.

idk what to look for on slip i mean i dont open her up until like 3500-4k and dont do 5th gear pulls so

LMK how i can tell if i need a new clutch

as long as rpm's dont shoot up with the speed staying the same or barely moving your clutch is fine. im around 400whp and even broke 3rd gear on my car... with the stock clutch. it can hold some power.

Nhanson is correct kinda. Little lost due to being an automatic.

Get up to 25mph, go into 4th gear and WOT. Watch the rpms, if they jump and come back down while the car slowely accels, then the clutch is dying.

agreed, noone thinks stock one can hold anything, but as long as you dont abse it it will hold plenty of power.

If RPMs shoot up and you dont go anywhere then its slipping

If you get moving slowly then you have a good clutch

Stfu retard. There are plenty of people on here who wrecked a perfectly good clutch doing just that repeatedly.

Annoys me that css had a bunch of ******* illiterate retards. Please do name someone whom have proof that it destroyed their clutch by doing this?? I ******* doubt you would destroy a clutch doing it, unless it was already fucked. I know of plenty of people who go so low in rpms that the car ******* shakes trying not to die. None of which have ruined a clutch this way. I will say most people on here ruin a clutch because they don't know how to even use a clutch or ride it too much.
