Those of you with aluminum base bushings, your opinions wanted

Hey i got a hurst from a member on here for a great price but was contemplating aluminum base bushings. I know twm has them and im not changing my shifter to TWM, sorry got a great deal. I just wanted to see what others have to say about their experiences of the base bushings. Should i get them? how hard is the install?? what difference does it make in shifts??

if I'm not misataken, the Hurst should have had solid bushings.... I know the B&M does.

Only b&m and twm (cost extra) came with base bushings. A baby could install the bushings. Just pry the rubber stock ones off while you are installing the new shifter and put the aluminum ones down.

It is easy as all hell to install them. You should get them and the shift feel is a lot more solid.

they are easy to install.... and my twm came with them and the knob... i bought mine on sale.

the bushings not only lower the shifter assembly but also firm up your shifts. i dont regret ever getting my twm it works and feels great
