tranny or bearing?

tranny or bearing?

im thrown for a loop on this one...my tranny just started ticking but when i push the clutch in the ticking stops and i have no clue what that would be

Not sure if serious because of the Probably a broken pressure plate or clutch hub

sounds like a bearing inside the tranny is coming apart.

a release bearing will usually make a noise when the clutch is pressed as there is more load on it. when you release the clutch pedal in neutral the input shaft turns. usually a noise as described is caused by a bearing on the input shaft coming apart.

Not if it's a tranny bearing. I know I said it could be clutch related but sharkey knows more about the tranny's than I do, so if he says it's a bearing, a clutch won't help

I'm dealing with one right now....I just Installed a brand new clutch AND TOB and my TOB is Faulty, Watch because GM has a BUNCH of Faulty LNF TOB's out there, I believe ZZP dosent even stock them anymore cause theres soooo many Bad ones.
