Ok, so I have an 2007 cobalt SS (2.4L) with an auto tranny. Now I was thinking about getting mounts for the tranny and engine. I know nothing about them so I was wondering what the pros and cons are to them? Also do they make tranny mounts for an auto tranny cause I was on TTR's site and I could only find manuel.

And also what does Ingalls Stiffy Engine Torque Dampener do and is it better than a solid engine mount?

 

why you want engine and tranny mounts?

 

From what I heard they get rid of wheel hop, is that correct? Like I said I'm doing research before I actually buy anything.

i think they are worth getting if you plan on modding the car heavily since i blew a tranny. maybe with these it would have taken more stress off the tranny.

friend of mine had that and it was causing him false knock, he said mounts are way better.
