I believe so, every stick Ive had I could hear it. Does yours whine at low speeds, like coming to a stop or anything, just curious cause mine does.

I just got my F35 replaced last week on my 2007 SS/SC(20K). The dealer said the synchros were damaged etc...so the cost of replacing the shaft and gears was about 1800, tranny (new) 2200, so they replaced the entire thing.
Thought everything was gonna be cool however, the tranny sounds horrible. If you accelerate it whines, and if you let go of the gas, it sounds somwhat grind, somewhat whine. It feels as if something is loose in there. I wonder if the tranny has oil, the correct oil for that matter or if it has the correct oil level. Has anyone heard or seen this thing coming up? A tranny with no oil or low oil will sound bad? I wonder how "NEW" is this tranny, maybe its a rebuild...Any suggestions?
Im going to take the car again to the dealer and hope they can find out whats the deal...
