there is no pilot bushing/bearing. many cars dont run one.

the reason behind the pilot bearing is so you have some support on the input shaft to take some load off the input shaft bearing. this is needed on rwd applications because they have a deep bellhousing and a long input shaft, some 9-10" long. couple that with a larger clutch disc and generally more torque than a fwd. on most fwd applications a pilot bearing isnt needed because the input shaft is fairly short, the clutch disc isnt very heavy, and for most fwd cars, they dont make that much power in the grand sceme of things.

the only fwd cars i can think of with pilot bearings are hondas and some mazdas. i cant say ive seen a gm fwd that uses one.
