tranny shim

is the tranny shim 100% necessary i forgot to put it in

if you take apart your tranny and put it back together again... and have spare parts... your doin it wrong.

unbolt your tranny mounts, bellhousing bolts and pull your axles out then just slide the transmission sideways. You'll be able to get the shim in. I did my entire clutch job without taking the transmission out.

when did you trade the balt for a mustang? you need that shim.. like stated above you can get it back in without pulling entire tranny.. will take alittle finesse i guess.. good luck!
