trans

whats the best fluid to use for my transmisson? ive tons of different answes... also do theis trans have filters? i have a 2006 ss/sc

They dont have filters. Fluid is personal preference.

well i want royal purple but im not sure whats the best

car has 94xxx on it and im pretty sure isnt never been changed

The best is the trans fluid from GM. There's a sticky on here with all the information you need to know about trans fluid. Part numbers, aftermarket alternatives, etc.

For real dude. The best way I have found to search is to go to google, type in what I'm looking for and at the end type in cobaltss.net. Brings up a bunch of threads.

Fluid is said to be good for the life of the car. However if I were to change mine I'd use redline from zzp

get dealer brand man my car had that royal piece of **** in it and it made my shifting horrible for 2k miles, if it hasnt been changed then dealer stuff werks hell of a long time swap that bac in there and go another 94k.
