Trans question

Hi all,

Bought an SS/TC 2 weeks ago and it seems like my trans input shaft bearing is making noise.

I have an F35 MU3.

I can get a G85 that came out of an SS/TC.

So the question is;

What are the differences between these Transmissions?

Thanks in advance.

Also, are there any specialty tools (GM J tools) needed to rebuild the F35?

They are exactly the same except the G85 has a LSD installed. The LSD helps put down the power in cornering. Other than that same gear ratios are in both transmission.

? I've got LSD in my F35 MU3...

So if I swap them I don't need different sensors/reflash?
Just bolt in and go?
