Racing my 09 cobalt ss in august when doing my 2nd gear burnout had drag radials on and car was grabbing hard didnt want to slip the tires. On that pass could barely get it in 2nd and 4th gear. Also the no lift shift doesnt work anymore. Had it at the dealership and the linkage is good also all the mounts still good anyone help?!?

If youre sure the linkages and the shifter are all fine then theres only one thing left. Internal failure.

Thanks for the reply fellas though I still dont think its internal because I can still shift gears, so my syncros should be fine. Im gonna take a look at the roll pin (even tho shifter doesnt have alot of play) then I guess that would leave bent shifter forks?!?

 

you'll send that pin to heaven before you bend the forks. Come to think of it, i've never heard of anyone bending the shifter forks.
