Turbo Tech Mounts!

So i got my motor and tranny mounts on today. Thanks Turbo Tech Racing. The motor mount is nice looking piece i got it polished with a black bushing. and my tranny mounts are red. I installed my motor mount today but will wait till tomorrow to install the tranny. (like easier using one of the lifts at work).

Here are the mounts:

And the mount installed:

As for vibs its not bad, at idle if feels stock and when normal driving it have some vibrations, under hard acceralation though is when you really feel it. It feels like one of those cheap massage chairs that you buy at Bed Bath and Beyond. :bolt: The does car feels more responsive and is louder for some reason.(exhaust sound).

Not yet I will be doing that tomorrow at work. I work for a dealership so the lifts will help a lot.

Well now I know when I buy my motor mounts I know which one to buy. TTR makes a good looking product there.

Don't put the inserts in unless you want bad vibes. I had them in and took them out.Stick with the front moutn and get the poly cabs from intense. That is just my opinion.

I dont think the vibs are that bad right now. plus you have to break them in a little first.

The install for the motor mount takes all of 5 mins.

1. place a jack under the motor and set it so it puts a little pressure on it.

2. pop hood

3. With a 15mm socket loosen and remove the three bolts holding the motor to the mount.

4. With a 18mm socket loosen and remove the two bolts holding in the mount. ]

5. Remove the mount

6. Place new mount where old mount was

7. Tighten the two bolt that hold the mount on.

8. Now jack the motor up till you can thread the three bolts in freely

9. Remove jack

10. Check to make sure every thing is Tightened to specs.

Wow... that mount looks amazing! I didn't wanna get the Engine Mount before.... but just the looks of that mount makes me wanna get it!

ALSO, I've had Poly Tranny mounts on for 9 or 10 months now. At first, the Vibrations are a little rough and very noticeable. After a while you won't notice them at all. Start up, when you tap on the gas (from an Idle), and taking off is when the steering wheel really vibrates.

I've had them in for close to a year now and I hardly ever notice the vibrations... and neither does anyone else that gets in my car (at least no one has ever said anything; other than the few that I have asked).

Damn bro, that looks exactly like the kit I got from TTR.

Oh yes, the vibes aren't that bad at all. I have the TTR engine mount, tranny inserts, and Intense CAB. Vibs have actually lessened. Several people have ridden in my car and not be able to tell there were any mounts installed. A lot of the people on this site are just being overly sensitive.

And now I got all the other poly installed too. Can only tell right at 1k rpms if your barely touching the gas. Other than that, no vibs.
