TWM Shifter HELP ASAP!!

I installed my TWM STS today and my shifter is soooo loose and I can't find gears easy at all, i feel no difference... please tell me why my shifter is loose and how to adjust the gears to fix this. I have searched and read the threads that are shown but they arent helping me much.

Did you install the bushings? Or tighten the bolt all the way down? Why don't you pull the boot off and look?

Sorry the nuts that tighten down on top of the bushings. There are 4 of them. One on every corner of the whole assembly.

damm, the only thing i can say is check the shifter cables

move the little white and gray rectangular shaped plastics covers over the cable forward and back till they feel right
