TWM Shifter orientation

I just installed my TWM Short Shifter this evening. I noticed that it seems leaned forward. 2nd is where the old neutral used to be. I thought i remember someone having this problem and there was an easy fix. If anyone could help me that would be great!

Thanks

tats the way the shifter sits, it is much moreforeward than the stock shifter, you get used to in after about a week

you just have to adjust your shift cables a bit and you'll be able to set it wherever you want to.

However, I recommend that you take your time doing this so that it sits well with each gear.

I saw how to go about adjusting the shift cables, but I think I may not exactly understand. I pulled out the metal U clip from the back of the main shift ball. I unsnapped the plastic white and grey cases to the shift cables, but it seems that regardless of where I set those it is still the same. Maybe i'm doing something wrong. I've looked at a couple of the threads here about shift cable adjustment but I can't seem to get a grasp of how it actually works.

Ok I think I got it. I seem to have gotten it adjusted a bit better. still leans forward which is actually pretty nice. But not quite as much as it had. Thanks for your help everyone.
