TWM Short Throw help
TWM Short Throw help
Hey guys i just installed my STS on my 06 SS/NA. Its works awesome and i love it but i have problem. When i unclipped the linkage cables i didn't mark them, the directions i had well weren't that good, so when i put the new shifter on and reclipped the linkages now neutral sits extremely high and when i shift between 1-3-5 the shifting boot is starting to tear away from the staples because its being stressed to much. I tried unclipping it again and moving farther down the yellow plastic ends on the linkage but it won't clip back. I searched for hours on here and couldn't find anyone else who had the same problem. Help me please
Thanks in advanced.
Thanks in advanced.
What im saying is i can't get the shifter to where i want it because the clips for the linkage cables won't close down when i adjust it to where i want it to, i don't want to break the cables or the clips, so im asking if anyone has any insight or idea why.
Okay, when you have the plastic housing that surrounds the cable detached so it can be moved back and forth freely, set where you want neutral, and clip the one on the driver's side first. You have to push down, and then inwards to get it to clip. It feels like you're going to break it, but you won't.

Its funny how long i have had this here and how many people have looked and haven't even made an attempt.
