Clutch Fluid DOT4?

Hey guys. I've been searching the forums the past hour and I couldn't find the answer to my question. I'm going to change out my clutch fluid and dad has some left over synthetic DOT 4. I read that DOT 4 seems to be ok to use, but is synthetic DOT4 ok? Some were mentioning SS lines are needed for synthetic.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say - Yes, it's okay.

I have no reason to believe it would cause any harm.
