why wont intermediate shaft come off?

why wont intermediate shaft come off?

just as the title says. the trans is out but the dang intermediate shaft will not comr out. i dont see a circlip or any reason for it to not just pull right out. can i get some help?thanks in advance fellas

unbolted the bracket and pulled it out...thats how i did it

When I did my Clutch it was a pain to get mine off. You take that pinch bolt out and then I had to beat on the shaft with a pry bar. Mine was seized a little. Hope this helps.

Won't come out of the trans? Nothing special about it, it goes in just like the axle on the other side.

I have seen major issues getting the axle out of the intermediate shaft because it rusts into the splines, one car I never got it apart at all no matter what.
