WTF is this green liquid

Why is my brake fluid Green and not clear or yellow like the DOT 3 stuff from the auto part store. im in the middle of bleeding my clutch and a highlighter green fluid is dripping out and its in my reservoir, do you think its ok to mix the dot 3 stuff with what ever is in the reservoir?

how olds your car, most cobalts came with dex cool till the dex cool lawsuit, is your radiator green? smell it does it smell like antifreez?

the only highlighter green fluid in a cobalt is the freeon... u sure you're bleeding the right lines? lol
i got no help for you, but i would play it safe and flush it and run the regular stuff. cant hurt (though it ight be a few $$ wasted)

Well my car is a 2006 ss/sc i just flushed it out and put in some new dot 3 works perfect thanks for the help guys

They don't use "freeon" in cars anymore. They use R134A refrigerant. That might be what you meant to say, but in case not, there ya go.

lol. fair enough. i always thought that that was just a type of freeon, but i never claim to be an HVAC genius...lol

Yea, sorry if that came off a little mean, that wasn't my intention. I just re-read it and I kinda sounded like a smartass. My g/f was talkin to me at the same time and givin me crap lol

But, they outlawed freon years ago because it's extremely harmful to the environment or something. So they "upgraded" to R134A. Freon works way better, but the other stuff is not as toxic or w/e
