2009 SS/TC Bolt On Dyno Results

Well I finally got to hit the dyno to finish up my tuning, AF and boost were perfect (as perfect as you can get with the stock turbo, DOH!) just was waiting to dial in some timing. This was on 93 octane winter blend (blah) in 68 degree ambients and the engine was hot. I think cold this car would be good for 340WHP or so but thats for another day Anyhow this thing loves timing up top! That said, i'm out of turbo up top as well

I had heard that but I let it cool and ripped off a 325 pull so I guess there is a sweet spot on these things I just ran it where I would normally be driving it (minus good intercooler airflow obviously lol) And by cold I guess I should have clarified, cooler engine but winter charge temps hehe

Take two,,,, these cars run much better warmed up... colder outside air will not help at all on these DI engines in the LNF.... Not to bad, 310 REAL SAE whp.... (corrected to 317) > STD.... On 93 oct...

you really just want warm oil and a slightly warmed up engine. The thicker colder oil will hold back some HP. You need warm thin oil to get rid of some friction.

Probably more like 302 whp. 317 / 1.05 = 301.9. Usually STD is 5% higher than SAE ( 10% if it is 40* with high pressure and low humidity) In some cases SAE can be higher that STD, but not very often. Unless you are in 6000 DA.
