Not taking credit for the tune, Bryan shared a lot of his findings with me... So I wouldn't have to find them myself. Saved me the hassle of a lot of dyno pulls and time

I know adding some timing in the cruising range will help mileage a bit. I was going to do it all fall and never did lol! Still get 21mpg in town though when its fairly warm, so hopefully adding some timing will get me even better mileage.

Let me try to comprehend some things here based off some hints or "puzzle pieces" you have left in multiple threads lol.
You always say people dont run lean enough to take advantage of over 25.5*, but if I am correct (again this is me trying to figure you out) you like to run E85 at 11.5 tapering to 11.8 AFR since you said you have found over 11.8 is losing power on E, which is similar to what he is running. So do you not go past that much timing as well?
Which leads me to believe that maybe when you were on race gas or meth that you leaned the car out more and pumped more timing into it.
Am I close? Or maybe way off

Its like E85 where you have to try pretty damn hard to get it to knock, except on E85 he found that leaning it out actually lost power. If you try really leaning the car on pump gas or many meth mixes you will start knocking pretty quickly.

I Can't edit this original post anymore for some reason.. but.. I will quote and fix the links in this post.
So, I'm moving in 3 weeks.. That means I need (lol) to get back on the dyno here before i go... Who needs to save money for a move when they have tuning software and a local dyno?
I plan on trying several timing curves and a flat AFR versus a lean to rich..
The ones below are what i plan to try.. Which one do you think will be make the most power? (Or do we think they are all going to be the same?)

Results
When I speak AFR in this post, that's gasoline equivalent, not actual
Current Timing:
This pull was wacked out and the car made like 100hp to 5000 rpm and then jumped up.. and i was anxious to move on so we didn't repull it
Pull 2 and 2a:
Red Line is a 13.0 falling to a 12.0 at redline
Blue Line is a flat 11.8
Pull 3:
Flat Fueling gave me the same result on the next two pulls so i stuck with it after that point and am only going to show the graphs for flat 11.8 from here on
Blue Line is the better run two
Red Line is the timing table above
Pull 4:
Same two runs as above + Green Line is the timing table above
Then i took ebristols suggestion:
Previous green line is the original pull 4 timing table, the blue is ebristol's suggestion (and the highest of the day)
Pull 5:
Blue line is the ebristol suggestion from above
Red Line is the timing table above
And finally a chart showing where i started the day versus where i finished Pull 2 versus Pull 4b
Soooo, based on my experience today.. cramming as much timing in as you can, as early as you can and holding it is the way to go.. .. thats pretty common sense

Thanks for updating the thread with the old graphs! I'm trying to get into tuning a bit more now with my friend Gremlin85 being a decent guide but stuff like this definitely helps me understand the engine a bit more.

Before the ported head and springs, I could slowly pull my tuned tc friend .. We've not raced since then.
