383_Stroker's Impromptu TVS Dyno Pulls
Dynojet Dyno
Mods are:
TVS with 3.1 (Stock) Pulley
Dual Pass
CX Heat Exchanger
79's
6gph Methanol Injection
RAW CAI
Pacesetter Mid-Length Header
3" DP w/ Cat
3" Catback w/ Dynomax VT Muffler
I was just going to watch robk dyno today, but then i was peer pressured into putting my car on the dyno. LOL.. Vids to come soon i think.. lol.. Mr. Slobalt has them currently
I forgot to log the first pull (Fail)
Second Pull - I don't ever stand on the car at 2500RPM when i tune.. It looks like i need to, based on the 10.7AFR in the low rpm range..lol
Third Pull - Made a MAF Adjustment, didn't go far enough.. Got a hit of knock on this pull too.. le sigh.. only paid for 3 pulls, so this is it for now.
Dyno Chart
Best Numbers were 311HP(312 if you wanna round)/256TQ
My previous dyno numbers were 304/276, with the following differences:
Was on a Dynomite Dyno.. (no idea how they compare to a dynojet)
Air Box Mod
Shorty Header w/ Open Cut-Out
60's
Tune is somewhat different (timing table and fueling mostly)
Sooo.. thats a pretty big hit in the torque dept. I'm not sure if thats likely the difference in dynos or what. But my worst fear was to have lost horsepower and that didn't happen at least.. =D

I had plans to work up a couple different spark tables and fueling options the next time i went to the dyno... but.. I didn't expect to be making pulls today..lol
And yeah.. i saw the knock.. i hadn't knocked on the run prior, which had the exact same AFR and timing in that area..lol.. who knows =P

Might've found my torque... :P
Last time it dynoed I had 7* more timing in the mid-range and the afr was 11.8 or so instead of 10.7 in the mid range..LOL
The car wouldn't take that much mid-range timing in the winter so i came up with my current curve..
I woulda checked that PRE-dyno and had my afr on had i known i was going to do it..lol

Im game for when ever, probably wont dyno mine til i can get tom back up here tho. HINT HINT WINK WINK lol Ive actually talked to a couple of people around here that want tuned on their lnf's as well hopeing that we might just rent him out for the day and do how ever many pulls we want/need too.
