I have been disappointed in the 5857s I have tuned they seem laggy and they seem to underperform overall compared to the EFR.

Yeah I just dont want the transmission crushing torque spike like the ZFR seems to have. I know you gotta pay to play, but its not appealing to me.

I can tame the torque hit on the ZFR. I do not have to run it nearly maxed out like Adrians car.

That's really good news what happens after 7300 rpm does the cam timing just stay the same?

Normally the intake cam drops off to 0 up top past 7300 and I believe this really kills power up top. I found that if you adjust the highest cell in the cam angle tables to lets say 7500 RPMs from 6000 RPMs it is stock the cam angle does not drop off to 0 up top.

Log says 158 MPH when he let off. He was really moving out. I wish they would have shot video of it.

Best part was when I shifted into 5th we really bolted towards him. That's when he moved over but I didn't pass him or we would've missed our exit. The guy driving the McLaren (Owner of a local exotic driving experience company) later claimed he was doing the speed limit on FB because they "have a no racing policy" lmao. He later deleted the post completely

I have only tuned the stage 1 cams but if you are wanting to rev it out more than the stage 2 cams would likely be a good bet. If you like the current 7300 redline stage 1 cams if you want to get up closer to 7800 rpms stage 2 cams.
Making sure Adrian did not miss this post in the sea of street racing posts and other side tracks.

Yeah I caught that, thanks. I would like to get the S2 cams but am not sure how soon I can swing that. Guess I'm not racing in the very near future...although I was gonna ask you for a road race tune with the boost turned down to help my temps. Would I be safe at, say 23psi?Do I need to go down to 20?

If cost is a big difference the S1 cams with the big fuel lobe will work really well. That last file I sent that I turned it down some did not have the dip up top.

After that short drive in Adrian's car, I'm definitely sold on the ZFR in the future. One more year of car payments...Then I can sit at the big boys table XD

I tuned a 7163 on 93. He had a manual boost controller though which limited me because I had zero control of the turbo. Honestly Wert's and the OPs cars are both a tad faster but If I had wg control of the 7163 it would be another story that thing has the potential to make around 500whp on 93.
