gotta pay to play man. now do you see why i have over 250 dyno pulls? little things here and there, like this add up in the end. timing takes a lot longer to dial in.

Good solid info man, good comparison.
Area, on the topic of timing, do you find it better to ramp the timing up as you approach redline to produce the best results? Or do you ramp it up to its max for peak cylinder pressure then taper it off slowly until redline? The only reason I ask is becuase when people talk about max timing and how to ramp it I have seen you drop hints such as "max cylinder pressure isnt near redline" and I started to wonder what you were getting at.

Getting on a dyno and finding MBT in all RPM and load areas and smoothing between is what I have found to be best. Also as far as max. cylinder pressure and airflow is concerned. The Tq. curve on a dyno graph is a good representation of airflow through the engine.

hahaha ya sometimes. also helps that at my p/t job we give him a good discount on parts he buys hahahaha. so far he's built up a pretty good rep with the cobalt community up here in regards to the dyno

Looking @ the afr of the lnf it slopes lean to richer like the stock gm tune does... trq slopes upwards peaks and flattens like most stock tuned lnfs do.
That is in fact a stock LNF...dyno error possibly?
