Ok so i purchased this car back in late June as it sits and have loved every min of it!!! This thing is FAR more superior over my all otor saturn

Mods that i can tell are:
-GMS1 upgrade kit
-Synapse Hot charge pipe
-K&N drop-in
-HAHN cat-back
-Lowering springs(not sure of brand)
-HID's low and fog's
-Wingless and debadged
-DARK ASS TINT lol

Ok so from what i can find out is that this also has an aftermarket tune in it as well. I belive its got a trifecta tune because it boost 25lbs. So we in the mid east area are having a meet this weekend, and wickedss2005 is going to pull the tune and find out for sure, then also do a more precise tune on it.

Anyways on to the dyno:

First run- On this run i learned that the car is limited to the amount of torque that is put to the wheel in 3rd gear, lol. I told the operator that i was going to run to the limiter, to my surprise it only ran up to 5200 rpm and no more!!! So we didnt keep this one

Second run- So after the first attempted run i ran this one in fourth gear. Ran it up to 6500 rpm and 140mph on the speedo lol. Got out and looked at the screen and peek horsepower was 266 with 327 peek torque. Wasnt all that happy w the hp number but WOW nice torque number imo.

There was a huge rich spot on the chart as well, so hopefully wicked will cure this for me on sat

This was done on a DYNOJET dyno as well

Pretty good numbers, the hp seems a tad low but the tq is there

 

those numbers do seem a little low if there is a Trifecta installed. Maybe once the tune is pulled you will find out what is up.

 

Thanks guys, yea thats wut im hopeing. Trust me i have tryed on several differnt occasions to get ahold of the privious owner to find out bout wut he had done. This is the onlt thing just sucks bout buying an already modded car, lol

That is excellent torque, next time turn off your ESC (hold the traction control button for a couple seconds, shift into third let it fall down on it's own to about 2200, and make your pull.

 

I had the traction control off for that first run. So your saying turn it off completely and i should be able to run a 3rd gear pull? Thanks

You shouldn't be doing pulls in 3rd gear anyways. The closest gear to 1-1 is 4th.

 

Well im going back to the dyno next tuesday to see the difference in my new tune. Wish me luck

Ok so i got a mild tune a few weekends ago when wicked came into town and i did gain power and torque. Not as much as i had hoped but like i said it was a mild tune. I gained about 10 more horse and 13 more torque w current numbers sitting at 276/340 while still falling on its face and nocking up top . I need to hook back up w wicked on the dyno and get it done that way i can figure out the problems. Over all still pleased w the car. Thanks wicked come back sooooooooon!!!!
