Dynotech TVS Dyno

Finally got on the Dyno Dynamics Dynotech today. I put the 2.9 back on for some baseline runs and dialed in the AFR to a mid to high 11 ramp. Got it on the dyno and it was in the LOW 10's so I had him cut it off early and I leaned it back out. Had a few issues losing tach signal but they got it figured out and the car put down 326whp and 240wtq. I made a few more pulls with similar to slightly lower resutls as the temps started climing after 10 pulls (yes 10 lol).

I then swapped to the 2.7 and got the AFR back to the same as it was on the 2.9. IAT2 started at 118* on this pulley as opposed to around 100* on the 2.9 because it just wouldnt drop even with the fans on it and rolling in 3rd gear. Temps reached 163* by the end of the run and the car started pulling timing a bit which resulted in 328whp and 252wtq, with about a 12-15whp throughout the powerband.

Heres the graph

Keep in mind this is on a dyno dynamics dynotech.

Going to get the temps under control and fix a few things and see where its at.

Pic of the car on the dyno

Ill post vids when I get them off my camera!

Well, doing a quick google search, it seems a dyno dynamics dyno reads between 10-18% lower than a dyno jet. (Several threads on various forums where people supposedly did them back to back).

So based on that.. Hella good numbers sir.

X2.. I also looked this up, looks like using the minimum 12% lower reading, he would have been just about right at 370whp and thats on the lower end.

Thanks guys! I was kind of bummed even though I knew that DD dyno's tend to run a little on the low side lol was expecting a little low but its just different when you actually see the numbers. Either way, im happy with the shape of the power curves.

Staged ill get the vids together and post mine and my friend's TC in there! We got his car to 401whp and 375wtq on 23psi and E47 on the pte5557, but we were running out of fuel in the mid range.

Nice!!! Sounds good thanks

Yeah, your torque curve is nice and flat. The power curve looks nice to.

Wicked numbers considering man. Didn't you trap like 116mph at the track iirc?

Sorry I still havent posted the vids. Just got back from Montana the other day.

Found out I was getting belt slip on the 2.7 so I put on a 3" tensioner pulley and fixed that issue. Yes I was trapping 116mph on the 2.7 with a little belt slip above 6k rpms and 26" tall tires.
