My TVS Dyno

Yes I am lazy and just copied what I posted in the dyno thread

My dyno from early May at boost for boobies car show and dyno day at Modern Automotive Performance in Minneapolis. Losing boost up top somewhere, and still have to address that issue. This was right after I swapped to the 2.6, hadnt touched the tune since the 2.7, but after the dyno I only made slight changes, mostly to how the timing table ramped with the added boost moving the load farther down the timing table. The sniffer was back from the exhaust a bit so AFR wasnt as lean as it seems, although it was slightly leaner than I would have liked, and I wish I would have had time to adjust it before the dyno, but it was snowing the day before Ill get all the kinks worked out and hopefully dyno again at the next event in October.

Mods are TVS, 2.6", 3" intake, Vibrant header, ZZP 3" dp with kooks stainless resonator, Hahn 3" catback, Euthanasia ported head with ZZP 82# springs and retainers and ZZP S2 cams, 98# injectors, OTTP RSFS, E85, and dual pass endplate.

Heres the graph. Its 370whp/292tq

Shush you!! You know shes fattened back up to that now. I did watch my wideband while the dyno'd it though and it was 11.6 mid range for a quick second but mostly 11.8 then tapering up to about 12.3 up top. Meh if only I had more time. Story of my life lol

When you were still on the 80's you made 360 at 7k or so right? I know that spike makes you beat me on the hp list :P Does your boost keep climbing to redline? Im finally boost leak testing my car tonight and possibly swapping bypass actuators if need be. My belt is so tight so I dont think that is causing my issues.

I definitely need to fix my issues now! Its 97* out today but I think im going to say screw it and work on a hot car and swap bypass actuators. May be worth it lol cause as you can see my boost starts falling after 6k. And aint nobody got time fo that. Good to see our numbers reflect each other pretty closely though.

Hot enough but cool enough I dont pay attention too them much, I more so watch EGT's. I had a phenolic spacer but took it off chasing a vacuum leak. Ill put that back on when I swap manifolds this winter. I also had a cobra H/E but took it off chasing a IC system issue. Ended up being...............REVERSED IC PUMP WIRES! I felt like an idiot, thought it was only 04's that had that issue. So yeah, my cars whole life, all my track times and all have been with a basically dead in the water IC system.

unhook the vacuum line from the bcs to the blower. plug the side that goes to the blower. you will only have to replace the bypass valve again in 10k miles.

Ive done that with no improvement :/ Gonna smoke the system and pressurize it to 25+ lbs tonight. Hopefully I have some promising results to report.

Edit: You mean the line from the solenoid near the VC to the actuator on the blower correct?

the line coming from the bcs to the bypass valve. unhook it from the bypass valve and put a screw in it.

Thats what I thought. This is how I tested mine. The old school bypass thread. Made no difference though.

Pressure tested to 30 psi last night and the only leak I had was the vac line coming from the intake manifold. Put a tighter line on with a smaller zip tie and now its sealed up tight. Started swapping the bypass valve but it didnt want to come off with the TVS on the car, kept hitting my ugly dual pass lines. I gave up until another time because it was 97* out and after having the car parked for 2 hours I was still burning my hands on the blower, and I was dripping sweat all over it lol. I was getting frustrated so I had to stop before I ripped the damn thing off and threw my turbo setup on
