I hold the record for for stock for kappa's. Terms the one who's done the great work. Doing my own 5th injector kit. Ordered all the parts today. Not sure if I want to do a stock turbo setup or just put in my BNR 2871 I have. The dyno I used was a Dyno Dynamics, reads low.

With bigger turbo's, **** yea. Look, you guys typically make about 6-7% more power than a kappa due to drivetrain loss being much lower and that can translate into as much as 30whp difference. So what typically would be an easy task for a Cobalt ss/tc is not as easy when your dealing with a theoretical drivetrain loss of 19% for us(very small driveshaft).
Not to mention though that in order to get to my whp with my drivetrain I'm making a significant amount of crank/engine power over a cobalt and is why in the Kappa world you see engine failures in the range of 450+(sometimes lower) unlike you guys that don't see failures till around 550+ range or higher(depends on driver). Hope this helps you better understand.
I don't look at numbers as people normally do though. I don't use it to say " my car hands down is faster than yours" because the numbers values are greater than the guy next to me. I look at them and see the improvement(though tuning) from a series of Term2's flashes of the computer and improvements of power delivery.
Like my history:
Baseline: 217whp 248wtrq
First tune after some bolt on's and a few flashes on E-47
319whp 412wtrq
WHP Gain:102 WTRQ:164
Significant improvements over stock. They typically are from baseline. From here on out your increments won't be as large(unless you go bigger turbo)
Few more flashes(typically 3-4) still on E-47
329whp 399wtrq
Gained 11whp loss 13wtrq
Then..... last file on E-47
357whp 410wtrq
Improved 28whp and brought back 11wtrq
Switched to Full E-85 and this took to refine about 6 flashes
368whp 446wtrq
Gained 11whp 36wtrq gain
Through all this I have been able to see a "Crescendo" in power curve letting me know that the tuning(Term2) has been effective throughout the process. Keyword: Application for your car. If you have a USE and targets with my experience you seem to reach goals much faster. My car is for Track(open road racing). Hence why I asked Term for more torque to let me rotate the car(if need be) if I get understeer and to shoot me out of the corner.
I also would like to add that I have a lighter flywheel(11lbs) compared to our 55lb stocky
Ok, so this is how I know my car with some time, has gotten faster with tuning and that's all I need to know.

LOL, yes and you have a PM. I would like to go to a 1/4miles to get a time but unfortunately they close the last one in Southern Cali not to long ago. 1/8th sucks and I can only get barely to the top of 3rd.

I have a 2012 ss/tc
I'll try to find my dyno papers but I have a video on YouTube of my car at ZZPs shop on the dyno. Matt tuned the car and the guys at ZZP did the install. Car put down 411whp and 374wtq pump gas.
Vid is called "cobalt ss/tc s256et dyno" I wanna be added to the list.

Then I will add you.
I also need a graph.
